Capital Gains Calculator provides a web-based tool for estimating federal and state capital gains tax liability. The free tier covers federal calculations. The Pro tier ($15 one-time payment) unlocks all 50 US state tax calculations, multi-stock entry, and tax-loss harvesting features.
3. Not Financial or Tax Advice
The results produced by this calculator are estimates only and do not constitute financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Tax laws change frequently and individual circumstances vary. Always consult a qualified tax professional before making financial decisions.
We make no warranty that the calculations are accurate, complete, or up to date. You use the results at your own risk.
4. Pro License
- The Pro license is a one-time payment of $15 USD.
- The license is granted to the individual purchaser for personal use.
- You may not resell, sublicense, or share your license.
- Your license is tied to the email address used at checkout. To restore access on another device, use the "Restore Access" option with that email.
5. Payments
Payments are processed securely by Paddle. We do not store your payment card details. By completing a purchase you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding on the Site are owned by or licensed to Capital Gains Calculator. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Site without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Capital Gains Calculator and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its calculations.
8. Changes to Terms
